Jesus is everything.

Worship with us on Sundays at 10:30AM.

Our Mission

The mission of Eastridge Baptist Church is to evangelize and make disciples of all nations, beginning with every person in our immediate context.

We believe that everything must flow from our mission to bring people to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ (evangelism), and teach them to obey Jesus Christ as Lord over every area of their life (discipleship).

The Great Commission serves as the reason for our church's existence.

And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

Matthew 28:19-20

Eastridge preschool

Our mid-week preschool is designed to be an extension of the church’s mission to fulfill the Great Commission of our Lord Jesus Christ in our immediate context.

Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” Matthew 19:14

Our Story

The strong roots of our past have established a strong foundation for our future…

Eastridge Baptist Church was organized in 1933 under the name of Oak Cliff Central Baptist Church with the founding Pastor, Ralph Bacon (1933-1949). The church was renamed in 1938 to Clarendon Drive Baptist Church upon erecting the church’s first building on the corner of Clarendon and Polk Street. Future additions to the facilities followed in the years to come.
